Way back in the late 1980's I loved the X-Men. Each month, I waited impatiently for the next issue. I bought tons of back issues to read the stories that had gone before. Then the cross-overs started and suddenly, to follow one group of merry mutant outcasts I had to buy tons of titles. Then there were massacres and retcons and reboots. By the early 90s I had abandoned comics all together. I now occasionally get a Star Wars Dark Horse comic or two, I've read a few issues of Buffy, but nothing like the consistant following I had in the late 80's. This comic perfectly explains why I gave up following the Marvel Mutants. www.comicsalliance.com/2010/07/01/xorn-history-comic-lbfa/

uhhh, yeah. I haven't collected in a long time. I got into an intellectual discussion with Dan Slott who did his "version" of She-Hulk with a lot of plot crap. She was in a bar, got sloshed, turned back to Jen, puked on this famous lawyer's shoes. (play laugh track) ugh. Pales to the John Byrne Shulkie, but I digress. So I asked him, if she has a super high metabolism (Mn in the Marvel RPG) booze shouldn't affect her. Wolvie needs to drink gallons of high-test hooch to get drunk (and it only lasts a few hours). So he says her body just stores it. And I said, that given her huge size, the amount of booze in her body would KILL human Jen. And he got all pissy with me. He needed her to get drunk so she could ralph on the big guys shoes. He did that a lot. So, I'm super busy anyhow with family stuff, but I get graphic novels from the library sometimes. XORN!!
